Latest Gutter Girls Prompt and other ramblings.......

So I know it seems like all I have been doing lately are Gutter Girlz prompts but they have been speaking to me... I have been enjoying just scrapping myself :) cheaper than therapy...... although maybe not considering the way I shop for supplies. but I digress, so here's the latest prompt.
This next picture I have been trying to scrap NO LIE for over 3 years, it's one of my absolute favorite pictures in the entire world. I took it driving into work one morning after a particularly bad snow storm when I lived in New York. It's been so long since I have seen this sight that I miss REAL snow!!! The morning after a snow storm when the snow and ice covers the branches making them heavy is like heaven on earth to me. I love driving through it, it only lasts for a few hours before it's blown or melted away or the snow gets dirty, so I was so happy to catch this picture :)

On other fronts I have been really really busy at work I knew inaugration would be rough but I made it through the long hours and although I will still be busy hopefully it will be a different kind of busy. The February Sneak Peek is up at Scrapbook Takeout :) and I will be splitting up kits this week.... that always relaxes me! If you haven't picked up your kit yet you should I only have maybe 4-5 left ;)

Gutter Girlz Prompt

I made my bed and I sleep like a baby in it!

I loved this prompt and honestly wish I could do more with it but alas somethings are better left unscrapped ROFLMAO. But anyhow here's my take on it. The journaling reads I am just making it up day by day and I live with the decisions I make even when they hurt.

Happy New Year!!!!!

So another year has come and gone, luckily they just keep getting sweeter and each year I am getting a bit better at this grown up thing!! Even with all of the bad things that happened in 2008 I can fondly look back at all of the things that I am truly thankful for and blessed to have. My family first and foremost, my children who are turning into fun people that I really enjoy being around. My dearest friends, aww hell they are my family as well :) that keep me grounded and in check (most of the time), my scrappy friends that keep me motivated and creating so I dont have to pay for therapy! My job and my business the list honestly just goes on and on!!! The losses just make me hold onto the things that I love even tighter. I dont do the whole resolution thing, I know what I have to do and will just continue to fit those things in when I can :) and more or less in order of importance ROFL.

So last night we had a great night around House O' Garcia, just a relaxing evening with all of us home, some games, tv, music, good food and even better drink!!! We all made it to midnight together which has been a rarity in recent years. I actually started a layout at around 10 and managed to finish it a bit after midnight which was pretty cool in my book!!! Here's my New Years Layout :)

I have had a bit of time being off with the kids this past week to sneak in some work here and there, thanks to my Christmas shoppping prowess they have been quite satisfied and not at each others throats around the house ROFL so here are a couple more that I completed. These are using the January Kit :) which will be up on the site officially by the 3rd. But as usual you can always preorder it on the sneak peek page.

So that's about it for now, here's hoping you too have a blessed, healthy and happy new year!!!
