So the question is what does an over hyped hurricane and weather warnings produce over in my house?

PURE FREAKIN BLISS PEOPLE!!!!
That's right peeps the stars aligned over my house yesterday and although it was pouring from the sky, windy and just generally yucky. My kids played happily (more or less) all day together and were perfectly content to sit in the house leaving me to do what ever I wanted to do!
I know I mentioned earlier in the month that my husbands TV needs had a really good effect on my scraproom. I got a new cabinet AND I also now have the little tv/dvd combo from the girls playroom in here. Since my scraproom is right off the kitchen I got the opportunity to test the theory that I could pretty much live in here never leaving! EUREKA I have found heaven on earth. Because save for shuffling into the kitchen for a snack, and around the corner to the bathroom that's exactly what I did! (must find comfy chair and I am all set!)
First I straightened up a bit in here, got all the boxes out the door (still have more cleaning to do but I digress) and I sat down and created. All day long...into the wee hours of the morning :) right now music is playing in my head just thinking about how blissful it really and truly was. AND just in case you don't believe me here's the proof.
Alternating with music from my blog, I watched 4 complete movies (must call Verizon for cable hook up)!!!!! I watched Jumper, 21, The Forgotten and Mr. Brooks. Until yesterday I have not watched a complete movie in FORNEVER. They must be paused, rewound, fast forwarded for little eyes, or just put on hold for crisis and annoyance. I scrapped my heart out, I surfed the web, I chatted with friends, I even learned how to use my webcam a bit better.
My kids cooked me breakfast (boiled eggs and wheat toast)..but it was still breakfast and the chinese delivery guy was less than happy to bring dinner to my house, I was ecstatic. Exclaiming at my door that 7 people on the block had ordered from them tonight!! NO YA THINK!
So I have rambled on long enough...here's what I made... with one more in progress on my desk.

Crap the candy apple layout just made me realize my blissful day could have been better if I had gone to the supermarket before the storm and picked up about 4 of those! But hey I was not fighting the crowds of people buying 15 boxes of cheerios, 6 gallons of milk and 15 loaves of bread. Forgetting the water and batteries ROFLMBO. I hope someone left me a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread otherwise I will have some pretty unhappy kids tomorrow morning.
Anyhooo I am off to go be productive, shop, clean and get ready for Monday (hopefully I'll insert a little more scrapping in there)
